Today Al, his son Carl and I stayed local. We did a drive-through in a local Fancy-schmancy housing development.
This is what we saw on the way out of town.
A airplane re-ferb facility. They take "tired" aircraft and make them "new".
After the commercial sections you run into farm land. Corn is about 18 inches tall and everything is being irrigated.
This is a school parking lot. The parking spaces are roofed and there are solar panels on the roofs.
The farm land suddenly stops and this is what you see.
This is the entrance to the development. The pointy top round thingie is a huge sundial
Here are the views as you drive through the developement. This place is not acres big it it MILES big!!
Here is a sign advertising 24 acres for sale in case you want plenty of elbow room.
A rare sight. NOT Al and me... The flowering cactus behind us!!!
Very few houses have solar panels. Don't know why with all the sun there is out here. These panels are for electricity. Why none for hot water???
Want a house next to a little pond?
How about a house next to a BIG pond??
The views are great. (If you like desert landscape)
We left the development and drove through the "country". This is a nice ranch house.
Oh-Oh. Construction
Crossing this bridge I noticed the GPS showed this a being a rather large river.
I don't think so. Looks kinda dry to me........
Hey Peter... This photo is for you!!!!!
It's a long story folks.
Sandi.... I found horses... The one on the right is an Appy!!!!!
This photo is for my friends back home in Maine.
That's it for today everyone.
Hope you are enjoying the trip.
